About The Role:

Purpose of the Role:

To support the Facilities Manager (FM) in the delivery of service excellence of Facilities services and soft services to our client, Providing a professional, comprehensive integrated soft services & Facilities Management service to our client through a variety of dynamic assignments. You will ensure service quality is upheld throughout whilst meeting and exceeding agreed KPI's/SLA's and implementing new initiatives for service enhancements and added value. To be a member of an integrated team to handle a wide range of facilities and support functions including maintenance, cleaning, security, safety systems, reactive works and working within a permanent shift rota Monday to Friday covering to ensure that the buildings operating hours are fulfilled. To work in line with the Reception team, hospitality & contractors, whilst supervising the cleaning team to support the day-to-day operations and overall delivery of facilities services to our client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting regular daily building/floor patrols and audits to ensure building is kept to expected standards adhering to H&S best practice, reporting, and actioning any defects identified, checking rooms, furniture floors etc identifying needs for repair and restocking/replenishing tea point/kitchen areas etc
  • Assisting, conducting, carrying out and overseeing various weekly/monthly PPM's, porting and cleaning schedule and responsibilities such as cleaning checklists, BMS temp checks, escorting contractors, moving parcels, manual handling of items/objects/furniture in and around the building from one floor to another, assisting with technical plant/equipment issue reporting and identifying faults and contractor schedule of works
  • To assist with client desk moves, ensuring desks are planned a week in advance and to be competent on office space software
  • Complete suppler measurement and site inspections on a regular basis and follow up subsequent actions reviewing facilities reports periodically to determine problems and inform FM of necessary maintenance including arranging for regular maintenance of equipment and internal systems.
  • Coordinate with FM daily site operations in accordance with agreed policies and procedures effectively managing the use of space utilisation within the building.
  • Supporting with managing the organisation, setting up projects and all hard and soft services
  • Deputise in FM absence and ensure all day-to-day operations run smoothly - this included covering the FM shift which is 8:30-5:30.
