Reporting directly to the BSc Senior Manager, the Programme Coordinator will support the delivery of the BSc programme's operational aspects. This is a key position that ensures smooth programme administration while providing excellent support to students, faculty, and stakeholders.
Knowledge Skills and Experience
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience in programme or academic administration, including managing student records and academic timetables.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle student queries professionally and empathetically, both in person and remotely.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in managing programme processes such as exams, quality assurance, and student records.
Proficiency in using online administrative tools and platforms such as Blackboard for programme delivery.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Be university educated, demonstrating a strong understanding of higher education operations.
Desirable Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Proficiency in multiple languages, particularly French, is advantageous but not essential.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and manage student records, timetables, and programme calendars.
Coordinate and deliver student registration, induction, and orientation activities.
Serve as the first point of contact for student queries, ensuring timely and effective support.
Support the organisation of examinations, monitor student attendance and progress, and contribute to quality assurance processes.
Assist faculty and the BSc Academic Director(s) with course scheduling and administrative tasks.
Facilitate processes related to certificates, transcripts, awards, and graduation ceremonies.
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure consistent and efficient programme delivery.
