Management Accountant

Butler Rose are working with a leading non for profit organisation based in Warrington to recruit a Management Accountant to join the finance team.

This role is perfect for a candidate who is looking to make the step up into a Management Accountant role after completing AAT, as full training and study support for CIMA will be provided.

Remuneration:

• Salary - £38,000
• Full time - 35 hours
• Study support for CIMA qualification
• Matched pension contribution up to 10%
• 28 days annual leave, rising with each year's service

Duties include:

• Ensure the completion of periodic accounting tasks and reconciliations including Accruals and Prepayments
• Full analysis and production of the Management accounts and financial management information on a periodic basis
• Meet regularly with Budget Holders providing financial information, discuss/challenge any variance against budget figures
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Prepare and manage the annual Budget Setting process
• Preparation of annual accounts
• Control and monitor the asset and property stock register
• Prepare rent, service charge and other invoices for third party customers
• Liaise with other finance and operational staff to prepare periodic cash flow forecasts
• Assist in the audits working with both internal and External Auditors, providing user friendly information in a timely manner

Candidate requirements:

• AAT Qualified
• Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or similar role
