Management Accountant

RotheramCarrington Financial Recruitment are pleased to be supporting a Warrington based Group of businesses who are recruiting for an experienced 'handson' qualified management accountant, who is on a trajectory career path.

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Production of the monthly management accounts, variance and margin analysis, to P&L and commentary
• Staff management of small team
• Monthly performance versus budget
• Weekly and monthly cash flow forecasting
• Production of management information (margin, costs, overheads)
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversee the purchase and sales ledgers
• VAT returns and submissions
• Managing working capital
• Maintain strong control around project costs
• Continuous process improvements

Skills/Experience

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified (essential) who are progressing through career
• Solid management accounting background
• This is a larger SME business, therefore a 'handson' approach is required, getting involved with all aspects of finance
• Excellent communication skills required as you will be lasing with various stakeholders at all levels across the Group
• Strong Excel and analytical skills

Whats on Office

• £50,000 to £60,000 per annum
• 25 days holiday, plus banks
• Progression, exposure to M&A activities
