Management Accountant

This newly created Management Accountant role responsible for the Irish entity of the business:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting on the company's performance against the budget within agreed deadlines
• Assisting in the creation of monthly margin analyses, offering detailed commentary and insights at both project and company levels
• Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analysing overheads
• Managing working capital, including the preparation of weekly reports
• Producing monthly and weekly cash forecasts, conducting regular bank reconciliations, and processing payment runs
• Preparing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
• Overseeing the purchase and sub-contractor ledgers, including preparing weekly payment runs
• Processing sub-contractor and supplier invoices, ensuring adherence to the company's approval procedures at all times
• Maintaining a strong control environment, particularly concerning costs, ensuring accurate recording at the individual project level
• Preparing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with other taxes
• Supervising the sales ledger and credit control activities
