Company client partnered with a growing Engineering Organisation who are seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to lead the development of pricing strategies and provide technical support on pricing matters. This key role will ensure that the company remains profitable and helps guide decisions on which projects to accept, retain, and how to price them. You will work closely with various teams, including Sales, Customer Service, and Planning, to align pricing with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and shape pricing methodologies and practices across the organisation, influencing both direct pricing teams and broader group resources.
* Develop and implement consistent reporting KPIs on pricing performance, supporting future pricing strategies for specific products and cross-sell opportunities.
* Act as the point of referral and escalation for reviewing large opportunities, ensuring they are priced in line with group strategy and objectives.
* Analyse and interpret data from clients and internal teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
* Build and share system knowledge to provide the highest quality customer service.
* Provide commercial insight into P&Ls, coaching and developing pricing teams with a focus on profitability and value-driven pricing practices.
* Model pricing under different assumptions, using Microsoft Excel, CRM, and BI systems, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in your analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a leadership role, building and managing high-performing teams.
* Strong analytical background, with a track record of successful project delivery.
* Experience in working with and analysing complex datasets, with a keen ability to drill into details.
* Confident in presenting data and findings to leadership, including up to executive level.
* Solid understanding of various commercial datasets and their application in pricing decisions.
* Knowledge of contracts and service agreements.
* Proactive problem-solving attitude and ability to exercise sound judgement.
* Strong commercial awareness and the ability to think strategically.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Skilled in relationship building, both internally and externally.
* High attention to detail when working with data.
* A drive to deliver exceptional service for colleagues and customers.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (desirable).
* Relevant professional qualifications in analytics (desirable).
