Accounts Assistant Part Time

We are actively seeking a Part Time Accounts Assistant for a highly reputable company in Bootle, Merseyside.

The hours of work are 24 to 30 per week, which can be flexible to suit the candidate!

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.

The main duties include:

• Processing of PO-related Accounts Payable goods invoices and coded non-stock invoices
• Processing employee expenses
• Preparation and process of all payment runs
• Cash allocation for all payments received and made (GBP/EUR/USD)
• Reconciling customer and supplier accounts
• Credit Control - pro-actively manage customer accounts, to ultimately secure payment in full;
• Preparation for monthly and annual close
• Monthly reconciliation of related Balance Sheet accounts
• Assist in the successful completion of annual statutory and bank audits

Our client is looking for a candidate who has:

• Accounts Payable and Credit Control experience
• Good Excel skills
• Reconciliations experience
• A good understanding of VAT returns
