Your new company
You will be working for a growing business and due to expansion they are looking for a part time Finance Assistant to be part of a team of 4 and supporting them with the wider Finance function.
Your new role
- Monitor and Reconcile Supplier Statements to Xero Supplier Accounts.
- Match approved purchase order to supplier invoices
- Maintain the company purchase and sales ledgers.
- Processing supplier payments to ensure all suppliers are paid on time.
- Process employee expenses to ensure they are paid as soon as possible.
- Monitor Accounts Mailbox for all supplier/customer queries.
- Credit card reconciliations and ensure all receipts are received.
- Raise Sales Invoices for tenants.
- Debtor control, using a proactive approach to ensure they are paid on time.
- Maintain relationships with customers and suppliers; handle incoming/outgoing phone calls and emails.
- Support the finance assistant/officer with processing, querying, and disputing employee expenses.
- Support the finance assistant/officer with processing timesheet data into Xero accounting.
- Support the finance assistant/officer with any other ad-hoc duties
Requirements
The client is looking for the right candidate to have excellent communications skills and have the drive to help the team.
Experience of using Xero is desirable
Benefits
- Circa 25k FTE (depending on experience),
- Part time role - 3 days a week
- 8.30 to 4.30 or 9 to 5 (can be flexible)
- 23 days plus BH (pro rata)
