Job Advert 1: Behaviour Mentor - Tower Hamlets
Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential? Do you have experience working with children who face challenges in mainstream education? A unique opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a pupil referral unit in the Tower Hamlets borough.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students with behavioural needs.
- Implement strategies to improve student's engagement and behaviour.
- Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to create personalised support plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment to encourage academic and social progress.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people with challenging behaviour.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach to working with students.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
