Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Sevenoaks
Salary: £27,500 - £33,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
Type: Office-based

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating Shipments: Manage the dispatch and delivery of goods, whether through personal drivers or third-party carriers.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock lists and oversee inventory audits.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyse logistical issues and develop solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Customer Service: Interface with customer service teams to manage orders and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations meet safety standards and comply with company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed logistics documentation and reports.
  • Cost Management: Monitor shipment costs and ensure they stay within budget.
  • Communication: Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
  • Process Improvement: Implement new projects and strategies to enhance logistical efficiency.

Requirements

  • A strong customer focus and a passion for building successful teams.
  • Proven experience in managing processes and achieving KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence across all levels.
  • 1 year of experience as a Logistics Coordinator.
  • Great organisation and time management skills.
