Salary & Package: £60,000 + essential car use allowance + 25 days holiday (increasing with years of service up to 30 days) + 5% pension + private health insurance + additional benefits!

The successful candidate will be the Technical advisor to members and stakeholders, helping facilitate the successful delivery of new member procurements and frameworks. Collaborating with colleagues, members, and stakeholders, you will develop and critique technical specifications and pricing models.

The successful candidate will work in a team who are a close-knit bunch and are really collaborative in their approach.

Role & Responsibilities

• Review and develop specifications to ensure they meet contract requirements and current standards.
• Provide technical advice to the team on new contracts and framework opportunities.
• Build and maintain a library of adaptable specifications for asset management and development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure specifications align with best practices, legislation, and member needs.
• Scrutinize tender submissions and pricing models for accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Develop and benchmark pricing methods, ensuring value for money and market engagement.
• Support cost estimations for construction projects and advise on budget-related risks and mitigations.

Experience & Requirements

• Experience in the Housing, Property, Construction, or similar sector.
• An experienced Technical Manager or someone with experience of contract management, asset management and understands the technical and operational specifications.
• Knowledgeable of building specifications and pricing models.
• CIOB, RICS, CIAT or equivalent desirable but not at all essential.
