Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher to support the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Provide individualised attention and support to students with different learning needs, ensuring their academic progress and well-being.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of teaching materials and resources.
- Supervise and facilitate group activities and projects.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in their educational and personal development.
- Provide feedback to teachers regarding student progress and development.
- Collaborate with other members of the school community, including parents and external professionals, to ensure effective support for students.
Requirements:
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within a school setting.
- Knowledge of the national curriculum and understanding of different learning styles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
- Empathy and patience in working with students with diverse needs and backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
