Business Travel Consultant

We have some brand new opportunities with a specialist Travel Management Company, as they look for GDS trained travel industry professionals to join their homebased Business Travel team.

This is a fabulous opportunity to progress your career with a global TMC, in a role where you'll work with a diverse and extremely rewarding client base, arranging travel to almost 200 countries throughout the world!

A minimum of 12 months business travel experience is preferred for the roles, however our client will also consider leisure travel candidates with solid flights experience using a GDS. The ability to deliver high levels of customer service is a must!

Role of Business Travel Consultant:

• Handle all travel requirements for a specialist client base
• Arranging and booking complex flight itineraries
• Respond to calls and emails from clients in a polite, efficient and professional manner
• Deliver an outstanding level of customer service at all times
• Communicate effectively with clients at all levels
• Offer advice on the best routes and fares for clients

Skills required for the role:

• Minimum 12 months experience within a business or leisure travel reservations role - essential
• Proficiency on a GDS - Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre - essential
• Good worldwide geographical knowledge
• Strong organisational skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Excellent customer service & communication skills
