Laboratory Technician

We currently have an opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join a research & development laboratory in Hertfordshire.

As a Laboratory Technician you will carry out testing of precious metals.

Responsibilities include:

• Set up and run analysis of precious metals.
• Conduct sample preparation.
• Ensure stock chemicals are maintained and re-ordered when needed.
• Ensure all work is carried out to required quality standards including ISO17025
• Record data and results onto LIMS.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience working in a Laboratory and have a degree (BSc) in chemistry or metallurgy (or related subject)
