Rev & Regs are recruiting for a Business Implementation Manager position for a large multinational Asset Management company in the City of London.
Responsibilities:
- The role's focus is to lead the planning, direction, oversight, monitoring and reporting of the assigned business implementation and all deliverables or outcomes in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Identify, mitigate, and communicate risks and issues that could impact the implementation or the business.
- Lead the business to successful outcomes that help it to grow at scale whilst reducing cost growth.
- Document and communicate any cross-delivery dependencies and resource contention.
- Work closely with the Rathbones Group central transformation team to define business cases, calculate budgets, and resource requirements, and report monthly on implementation progress.
- Monthly implementation reporting to various central forums and steering committees.
- Produce, contribute to and validate programme and project proposals, business cases, RFPs, business requirements, specification and scoping documents and other reports as required.
- Hand over programme and project deliverables to Business as Usual (BAU) with robust procedures and training to ensure that operational departments continue to operate smoothly.
- Negotiate vendor contracts and manage third party relationships.
- Undertake feasibility studies in respect of proposed initiatives which are not projects; providing support and guidance to change managers in the business on best practice change management.
Experience:
- Experience of successfully delivering change into an asset management business.
- Good knowledge of Charles River.
- Role requires a self-motivated individual; the successful candidate will be empowered to work as they feel comfortable and will be measured on outcomes and value delivered to the business.
- Experience of asset management systems across front, back, and middle office, as well as trading operations.
- The individual will have leadership experience having managed people directly or remotely, with a strong focus on emotional intelligence.
- Experience of third-party vendor negotiations.
- Comfortable with constructive challenge at all levels
- Detailed understanding of outsourced relationships and how to implement new systems and processes with third party providers.
- Preferably the candidate will have experience of delivery of data initiatives.
Salary: £85,000 - £90,000 plus c£50,000 bonus
Location: hybrid (2 days per week in City of London office)
