Vacancy Description:

This apprenticeship provides a structured introduction to Power BI development and the Microsoft Power Platform, combining practical work experience with training. Under mentorship from experienced professionals, the role offers opportunities to contribute to digital transformation projects and build essential technical skills.

Key Duties:

• Assists in the development of Power BI dashboards and visualisations under supervision.
• Learns to connect, transform, and manipulate data using Power Query and DAX.
• Supports data analysis tasks to deliver insights for business decisions.
• Participates in reviews of existing dashboards, suggesting improvements for efficiency.
• Gains experience working with Power Automate and Power Apps as part of the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Engages with stakeholders across the business to understand reporting requirements.
• Develops technical skills through on-the-job training and active participation in projects.

Entry Requirements:

Standard Entry:

• Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)
• OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)

Plus:

• 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above
• Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
