Hyde is looking to recruit an Insurance Services Manager.

As an Insurance Services Manager at Hyde, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic advice and oversight for all insurance matters across the Hyde Group. You will lead on managing the Group’s insurance arrangements, ensuring the right level of protection for Hyde and its customers, while achieving the best value for money. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners is critical to delivering expert advice, resolving issues, and ensuring high standards of service.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Line manage and develop the Insurance Claims Officer.
  • Lead and coordinate the Hyde Group’s insurance activities, including overseeing external insurance service providers and internal claims management.
  • Review and manage Hyde’s insurance arrangements, identifying new requirements, recommending alternative risk transfer methods, and leading the annual renewal process.
  • Oversee claims management, including performance reporting to the leadership team and Board.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data collection for insurance renewals and retenders.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on insurance queries and contribute to strategic company projects.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong background in insurance risk management, with the ability to manage claims processes effectively.
  • Proficient in interpreting and presenting property and business data to secure optimal insurance cover.
  • Investigative skills with a focus on identifying root causes of incidents and implementing preventative measures.
  • Chartered Insurance Institute membership is essential.
  • Experience with business continuity is preferred but not essential.
