Finance Business Partner

Reed Accountancy & Finance is currently seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner for an interim position with our client in Maidstone. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who excels in strategic partnership and has a proven track record of influencing financial decisions within a business.

Finance Business Partner Day-to-Day of the Role:

• Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insight and guidance on all company decisions and initiatives.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
• Present financial reports to management teams, highlighting opportunities and risks.
• Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business strategies.
• Analyse financial data and create detailed reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
• Challenge current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible.
• Act as a key contact for stakeholders, providing advice and support on financial matters.

Finance Business Partner Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar Finance Business Partner role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems and tools.
• Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term business planning.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is desirable.
