What would I be doing?
Sales Strategy: Design and implement innovative strategies to drive revenue growth.
Pipeline Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities and conversions.
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional results.
Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture lasting partnerships with key clients.
Sales Performance Metrics: Track and analyse KPIs to optimize team performance.
Industry Expertise: Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
HR Compliance: Ensure team practices align with HR standards and company policies.
What do they expect from me?
Proven success in a senior sales leadership role within the conference, events, or hospitality industry.
A track record of exceeding revenue targets in sponsorships, ticket sales, or event services.
Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing, mentoring, and inspiring teams.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Strategic acumen with a deep understanding of market dynamics and sales optimisation.
Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and sales analytics platforms.
What qualifications and experience do I need?
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Head of Sales, leading and managing a team of 10 or more.
Proven sales experience in the conference or exhibition industry.
