A fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Team Manager has arisen to lead our clients MASH, Assessment and Intervention Team! We are looking for experienced and passionate Qualified Social Work Team Manager to lead the MASH, Assessment and Intervention team. As part of this MASH, Assessment and Intervention team, you will be part of a fast paced, busy and supportive team who assess and work with Children and Families.
As a Permanent Team Manager, you will lead a team of Senior Social Workers and Social Workers in the delivery of our statutory and legislative duties, fostering a supportive and collaborative working environment, whilst promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and young people in the local authority whilst effectively managing risk. As the team manager within the MASH, Assessment and Intervention Service, you will be responsible for ensuring social work cases are allocated and monitoring cases and producing outcome-based plans that reflect the needs of and risks to children and their families. You will develop effective relationships with not only your team but also children, young people and their families to improve the impact of work and determine the level of service available.
Working in accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements, informed by the values and principles of social care; you will be supporting in the delivery of person centred, safe and effective social care services. Using your professional knowledge and experience you’ll make assessments and decisions about the most appropriate interventions. Applying your significant Social Work experience and excellent communication skills you’ll establish and maintain relationships with service users and other agencies to ensure services meet identified needs.
