Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Plumber to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in plant rooms and executing fit-out projects. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair pipework, valves, and systems within commercial plant rooms.
• Perform fit-out plumbing installations, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and heating/cooling systems.
• Work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
• Collaborate with other trades (electricians, HVAC specialists, etc.) to ensure coordinated project completion.
• Ensure all plumbing installations comply with health, safety, and building regulations.
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to prevent system failures.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a commercial plumber, particularly in plant room and fit-out environments.
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, boilers, pumps, and water systems.
• Familiarity with industrial-grade valves, controls, and pressure systems.
• Excellent understanding of local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent certification.
• Valid CSCS card
