Conveyancing Assistant

One of Yorkshire's leading law firms has a brand-new position for a Conveyancing Assistant to join its high performing team in Crossgates, Leeds.

As such, I am looking to speak to Conveyancing Assistants with a minimum of 6 months experience who are looking to join an outstanding L500 firm.

This role offers unrivalled progression opportunities as you will be working alongside one of the department’s senior fee earners.

It is essential that you have extensive experience as a Conveyancing Assistant to be considered for this role – applications from those without will not be accepted. 

Key Tasks

• Opening new files and inputting new instructions onto the Case Management system and producing relevant letters and documents
• Updating the Case Management system in accordance with team procedures as the matter progresses
• Issuing contracts on sale files and assisting in dealing with replies to enquiries
• Ordering searches
• Dealing with exchanges and related paperwork
• Setting up completions
• Issuing Mortgage reports to clients
