A high-growth, international business specialising in property and design services are currently seeking a Finance Manager to join their fast-paced team.

This is a broad role, reporting directly to the Finance Director and managing a team of 3. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and monthly reporting.
  • Production of monthly group consolidated management accounts.
  • Cash flow management, including weekly cash flow forecasting.
  • Development of KPI's including reporting and analysis to review business performance.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
  • Work closely with our teams and divisions across the business including sales, project management, HR etc.
  • Managing, coaching and develop a team of 3 working in accounts payable and receivable.
  • Review and sign off of team members work across accounts payable and receivable including payment runs, credit terms, bank reconciliations etc.
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns for all UK entities.
  • Preparation of monthly payroll data ready for submission and calculation of staff commission payments.
  • Liaise with auditors and preparation of year end audit file.
  • Process improvement and automation - looking at ways to develop and refine processes to build efficiencies within the team and its outputs.
  • Any ad-hoc duties and analysis to support with wider team and Group Finance Director.

The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and will have relevant post qualified industry experience working in management accounts and reporting. This is a broad and hands on role, managing all aspects of finance - so would be best suited for someone with this background, preferably from a medium sized business. Strong team management experience is essential, with the ability to coach, develop and train junior staff members. The business in going through a lot of growth, so experience working in a high-growth environment and implementing process improvement would be beneficial.
