Finance Manager

Axon Moore is excited to be recruiting a Finance Manager for an international manufacturer, part of a well-established PLC based in Stoke-on-Trent (On-site Role)

The Role:

This hands-on position encompasses both financial accounting and management accounting, playing a critical role in supporting the General Manager. You’ll:

• Forecast performance and monitor costs to ensure the company stays on budget.
• Provide insightful board reporting, explaining variances and suggesting corrective actions where needed.
• Collaborate with operations to understand operational challenges and their financial impact.

Ideal Candidate:

• A Management Accountant or Finance Manager with 2+ years of experience, ideally in Engineering or Manufacturing.
•  Someone ready to take on a comprehensive role involving cost control, board reporting, and strategic financial oversight.
• A professional seeking career progression, with potential to move into director-level roles.
• Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA, part-qualified, or QBE candidates welcome.
