Do you have experience leading a Project Management Office (PMO) including resource planning and capacity management? If so, join Elysium Healthcare as the PMO Lead and become the main point of co-ordination for all significant project management activities in the business.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be establishing policies around project management, developing and enforcing standards for the project management lifecycle and providing accurate reporting via portfolio dashboards and status reporting.
You will provide oversight of multiple complex projects across the organisation, adhering to technology standards (where applicable) and managing the full project management lifecycle process. You will bring a strategic perspective on business activities with the ability to help the executive team rationalise and maintain a clear portfolio of initiatives that are aligned to departmental objectives.
As a PMO Lead you will be:
- Accountable for the provision of all key PMO services (including planning, financial, resource management, risk and issue management, reporting, governance and method compliance).
- Developing project capability across Elysium. Setting the standards, processes and templates and providing training and upskilling to managers to manage projects effectively.
- Undertaking the role of custodian for the local standards and their continuous improvement, maintain a centralised repository for project management knowledge, templates and local practices.
- Designing, implementing and supporting effective tools. Maintaining a central repository for status reports, work plans, proposals, change requests etc, and ensure timely updates and performance reporting processes.
- Developing reporting frameworks, utilising thoughtful, user-focused design to produce consistent reports that are simple to complete and provide easily digestible data, visualisations, analysis and insights to senior leaders and sponsors, to enable effective decisions/actions to be taken.
- Establishing and maintaining governance for delivery, defining clear roles, responsibilities and accountability that align with corporate governance practices. Report up to Executive level, as well as at local/functional level.
- Conducting proactive health checks and reviews of projects; support project teams with implementing findings and recommendations. Escalate and address non-conformance issues proportionately to their impact and needs of the business
- Managing capacity planning across Elysium. Highlighting interdependencies between projects and capacity challenges that may impact on our sites.
- Building relationships with Ramsay Global team & Ramsay regional peers, collaborating on strategic global initiatives and projects, when required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience managing a PMO/change portfolio in a complex multi-site business.
- Experienced in resource planning and capacity management.
- Understanding of the project lifecycle, with experience delivering projects end-to-end.
- Lead on maintaining cross portfolio benefits tracking and realisation.
- Identify and escalate change risks, conflicts and synergies, driving improved efficiency and risk reduction up to Executive level.
- Solid governance standards to ensure adequate project management documentation, reporting and plans are in place.
