Primary Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant - Blackburn:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Level 2 teaching assistant to support Year 3 classes at a lovely school near to Blackburn. This is a full time position to start in January and will run until the end of the school year.

You will be required to prepare learning resources, communicate with class teacher to monitor progress and build rapport with staff, pupils and parents.

Position Details:

• Location: Blackburn
• Position: Teaching Assistant
• Hours: 8:30am-3:45pm, Mon-Fri, during term time only
• Type of Work: Temporary
• Full time/Part time: Full time only
• Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
• Start date: 20/01/2025
• End date: July 2025

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

• Previous experience working within a school setting
• Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification is essential for this role

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
