Job Title: Accounts Payable Assistant

Assignment Duration: 4 weeks

Hourly Pay: £14-£16

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm

Location: Charing Cross

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with suppliers across the group to ensure timely and accurate invoice payments in accordance with company policy.
• Partner with business development teams to onboard new suppliers efficiently.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and maintain the Payables Ledger.
• Prepare weekly payment runs, ensuring thorough review and timely, accurate payments.
• Assist in auditing expense claims to ensure compliance with company policy.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks for various internal stakeholders as required.
• Ensure the accurate processing of purchase orders (POs).

Experience and Skills Required:

• Proven experience in a fast-paced finance department.
• Previous experience in a Credit Control or Accounts Payable role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders via email and phone.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages; familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to the role.
