Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Internal Sales Executive for a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Bracknell area.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Freight Forwarding Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a understanding of the freight forwarding industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide competitive pricing for air, sea, and road freight. You will play a key role in generating quotes, negotiating with carriers, and ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Arrange and complete competitive and accurate pricing for Bids, Tenders, and General Quotes for air, sea, and road freight.
• Generate quotes using the Cargowise system.
• Collaborate with airlines, sea carriers, and freight partners to obtain competitive rates.
• Handover details and shipment instructions to the operations team upon securing shipments.
• Follow up on quotes to secure sales and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strong relationships with UK customers and overseas partners/agents.
• Address and resolve any queries related to quotes and shipments.

Requirements:-

• Basic standard of education (up to GCSE level or equivalent).
• Experience within the Freight Forwarding industry.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes and operations.
• Good verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong numeracy skills for accurate pricing and quotations.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
• Strong customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
