IT Support Team Lead
Are you an experienced IT professional ready to lead a dynamic team and drive impactful IT projects?
I have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Support Team Lead to oversee daily IT support operations, collaborate on strategic initiatives, and deliver exceptional service across our client’s business.
This is a permanent role, based in Ipswich, Suffolk. Hybrid working will be available after you have successfully embedded into the business and team.
In this key position, you will:
• Lead & mentor the IT helpdesk team, managing daily operations and escalations.
• Drive Projects by leading and coordinating internal IT initiatives, ensuring high standards, proper documentation, and governance.
• Enhance Processes to improve IT service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Manage Infrastructure by supporting cloud solutions, overseeing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, and maintaining system security.
Key Skills:
• Technical expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and the Windows Server stack.
• Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and desktop support.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentoring and coaching.
• Knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and cyber security frameworks (e.g., Cyber Essentials/ISO27001).
• A proactive, customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and time management skills.
