Maintenance Manager

Our superb client, with offices based in Swavesey, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join them on a full time permanent basis working Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm.

As Maintenance Manager, you will responsible for overseeing a small team of maintenance employees, allocating their workloads and dealing with 121's, training and development of the team including recruitment. You will oversee all aspects of health & safety, SSOW and risk assessments, developing new policies, procedures and efficiencies, dealing with planned and reactive maintenance across a wide portfolio of properties and making site visits. You will be involved in the tendering for new projects, weekly fire alarm checks, compiling and planning of maintenance budget, allocating resources to workload, maintaining the maintenance spreadsheets, checking and authorising timesheets, overtime, mileage etc., managing the vehicle fleet and occasionally be an escalation point of contact for out of hours working.

To be considered for the role of Maintenance Manager, you will have previously managed a maintenance team, with be forward thinking and have an efficient approach to maintenance, you will have superb communication and delegation skills and will have a background in maintenance or facilities.

In return, our client is offering a salary of £42,500 inclusive of car allowance, 28 days annual leave inclusive on bank holidays, enhanced pension contributions, enhanced maternity / paternity, extended Christmas leave, private medical insurance and life cover and much more.
