Mapped Recruitment is delighted to be working with a long-standing SME business on their search for a Management Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. Successful candidates must have strong management accounts experience (exposure to budgeting and be a fully qualified accountant)
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager
- Responsible for management and statutory reporting of the Company (3 entities)
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly Corporate management accounts
- Preparation of monthly Corporate departmental reports
- Preparation of the Corporate budgets and 3-year rolling forecast and in loading budgets at expense and project level into Openaccounts
- Preparation of reports showing spend v budget
- Assistance with the preparation of year-end financial statements and tax schedules
- Provide ad hoc reports and financial modelling, as required
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Successful candidates will ideally be qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA (or finalist level)
- Experience of financial reporting, planning and analysis across a complex multi-entity environment.
- A minimum of 3 years of management accountant experience including budgeting experience
- Confident Excel user (open accounts experience is beneficial, not essential)
- Ability to present to various business stakeholders
- Ideally worked with SME businesses with a breadth of management accounts experience (CIC experience beneficial not essential)
This role is based in the city of London (3 days in the office 2 days at home)
Interviews commencing week commencing 6th January (ideal start Q1 2025)
