Part Qualified Management Accountant

Halliday Marx have partnered with a truly outstanding media business to recruit a part qualified Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This role is suited to someone with a good understanding of P&L's and Balance Sheets.

This role has hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home)

Responsibilities

• Producing a full set of Management Accounts - {Monthly P&L + Balance Sheet} for several entities
• Actual vs Budget Variance Analysis
• Budgeting + Forecasting for 1 entity
• Liaising with the Auditors
• Preparation of Journals, prepayments and Accruals
• Producing the Statutory Accounts
• Manage the audit process
• Reconciliation of Payroll to the general ledger
• VAT Submissions
• Tax accounting duties

Requirements

• P&L + Balance sheet experience is an absolute must
• 2 years of experience in accounting
• Actively studying for a professional qualification
• Very good double entry bookkeeping skills
• Strong Excel skills {Vlookup's & Pivot Tables as a minimum}
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
