We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team in the Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) unit. Our ARP unit is designed to support children with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the tailored education and care they deserve.

With small class sizes averaging just 7 students, our teachers can provide individualized attention and support to each child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with special educational needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to parents and other stakeholders.
- Support students in developing social, emotional, and communication skills.
- Work closely with the ARP team and other staff to ensure a cohesive approach to education and support.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN education.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Strong understanding of SEN legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
