An outstanding SEN school in Barking is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team from January. This role will focus on a Year 6, 7, and 8 class with students working at a Year 2 learning level. The class is active and requires strong behaviour management, making this the perfect opportunity for a teacher with a SEMH background or experience supporting students with complex needs.

About the Role:

• Teaching and supporting students with severe, profound, and complex learning disabilities.
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Managing behaviours effectively while fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
• Supporting students with autism, sensory impairments, and communication difficulties.
• Collaborating with support staff and specialists to ensure the best outcomes for each student.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience working with SEMH or in a special school environment.
• A creative, patient, and flexible teaching approach.
• Strong skills in behaviour management and differentiated learning strategies.
