Residential Property Lawyer

A opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or Conveyancing Executive.

This role offers the chance to join a highly reputable and experienced conveyancing team.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in residential property transactions and the confidence to manage a full caseload independently from the outset. Working as part of a close-knit team passionate about collaboration and professional growth, you will provide expert, commercially focused legal advice while ensuring an outstanding client experience.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building relationships: Developing rapport with clients and referrers to maintain and grow the practice's reputation.
  • Client interaction: Providing advice and assistance to clients and third parties via telephone, written correspondence, and occasionally in person.
  • Transaction management: Handling documentation, such as ID, mortgage offers, and searches, while providing proactive updates to clients regarding their transactions.
  • Casework: Reviewing contracts, preparing mortgage reports, checking search results, and responding to freehold and leasehold enquiries.
  • Specialist work: Managing residential property titles and handling tasks like exchange of contracts and completion of purchases. New-build experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Team goals: Working collaboratively to achieve monthly targets and KPIs.
  • Business development: Supporting the team in identifying opportunities to grow the practice and communicating the firm's value to attract new clients.
About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Possesses a thorough understanding of conveyancing, with experience managing a caseload from start to finish with minimal supervision.
  • Is an excellent communicator who is confident, clear, and client-focused.
  • Takes pride in providing the highest level of service and demonstrating strong ethical standards.
  • Is proactive, hardworking, and eager to grow within a busy and expanding legal practice.
  • Thrives in a team environment and values collaboration.
Benefits & Perks
  • Flexible and hybrid working options.
  • Pension scheme.
  • Access to professional training and personal development opportunities.
  • Health cash plan.
  • Team-building activities and social events.
  • Discounted parking.
  • Office closure between Christmas and New Year.
  • A warm, friendly environment with a close-knit team culture.
