About the Role
As a Receptionist, you’ll be the welcoming face of the clinic, ensuring that both clients and their pets receive an outstanding experience from the moment they enter. You’ll balance front-of-house duties with essential administrative responsibilities that contribute to the seamless running of our practice. You will also assist with managing member traffic, coordinating appointments and maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area.
Key Responsibilities
- Front Desk Management: Create a welcoming environment for all visitors. Assist clients with orders, answer questions, and ensure that all reception area processes run smoothly.
- Client Relationships: Build rapport with clients and their pets, maintaining a warm and compassionate approach.
- Business Support: Help with membership promotion and client acquisition, encourage all-access memberships, and collaborate with the marketing team for clinic awareness and client retention.
- Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, follow-up calls, and managing communication channels, including email and phone.
What We’re Looking For - Experience in customer-facing roles within veterinary, healthcare, hospitality or similar settings.
- Skills in customer service, communication and organisation. Ability to handle emotionally sensitive situations with empathy.
