Production Arts Teacher

  • Job Type: Part-time

  • Salary: £30-45 per hour 
  • Contract Duration: January to 14th February 2025 (with possible extension)

We are seeking a dedicated Production Arts Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in production arts, particularly within further education (FE), and who is familiar with BTEC and quality assurance processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and contributing to the development of our students in the field of production arts.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teaching Production Arts to FE students across various sessions:
    • Wednesday: 9-10 AM, 10:15 AM-12:15 PM, 1-2 PM
    • Thursday: 10:45 AM-12:15 PM, 1:15-2:45 PM
    • Friday: 10:45 AM-12:45 PM, 1:15-2:45 PM
  • Planning and preparing lessons that are both engaging and educational.
  • Assessing and reviewing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and curriculum delivery.
  • Ensuring compliance with BTEC standards and quality assurance processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Production Arts in FE (not performing arts).
  • Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Certificate of Education, or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of industry experience in Production Arts.
  • Strong familiarity with BTEC curriculum and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
