Job Description
We're currently looking to hire an Asset Services Senior Analyst to join Legal and General Asset Management's Asset Services Function
The primary function of the Asset Services function is to ensure all services (incl. Income, Claims, Corporate Actions and Asset Transfers) and outsourced activities are effective managed and processed accordance with market deadlines and industry best practise, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and quality control
What you'll be doing:
- Completion of daily tasks (incl. Income, Claims, Corporate Actions and Asset Transfers) are managed effectively and are in line with market and regulatory deadlines. Proactively working with LGIM stakeholders, Outsource Provider, and 3rd Parties to ensure all asset services activities are managed
- Working in partnership and collaboration with team members and outsourced provider to ensure daily tasks are completed in line with agreed service standards and deadlines (incl. accuracy, timeliness, and client service measures)
- Assisting the outsource provider with agreed retained services delivery for the respective service area
- Monitoring the daily & weekly service delivery KPI / KRIs and escalate issues accordingly
- Proactive ownership and investigation of queries/issues that may arise, escalating and reporting any inconsistences to supervisor or manager in a timely manner
- Striving for excellence in service. Role model the behaviours
- Proactively identify control weaknesses relating to asset services operating model and recommend and implement procedural and process change in partnership with team members, manager, and outsourced provider where applicable
- Ensuring end to end understanding of all operational tasks and how they relate and impact all processes. Ensure standard ways of working are applied consistently
- Creating procedures that reflect processes polices and any workflows that are needed to support the asset services process and activities for retained and outsourced services
QualificationsWho we're looking for:
- Demonstrated experience of the asset management industry/experience within Investment Operations
- You'll have an understanding of Asset Services tasks, including Corporate Actions, Income, Proxy voting and Claims
- Strong knowledge in the outsourced service area covering operational service delivery knowledge and client expectations
- Industry awareness of the outsourced service area and regulations governing it
- Experience in working with and overseeing 3rd party relationship service delivery
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines, KPI's, KRIs and Service Levels
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relay information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal communications
- Strong influencing skills in managing relationship / client service engagement
- Ideally you'll have achieved or working towards the IMC or IOQ qualification
