Description
- Oversee purchasing activities for specific categories within the company.
- Monitor and predict market trends to identify potential areas for savings.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with various department heads to forecast future supply needs.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet company objectives.
- Handle any supply issues to ensure continuity of supply.

Profile
A successful Category Buyer should have:
- A degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in a procurement and supply chain role, preferably in the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic planning abilities.
- A solid understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
