Assistant Accountant

KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with an excellent manufacturing business based in Cramlington to recruit an Assistant Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on AAT or CIMA active studier.

• Assist in production of management accounts
• Month end journals
• Balance sheet account reconciliations
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Assist with the production of annual budget and monthly forecasts
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable invoice processing if required
• Processing of bank payments and receipts
• Completion of bank reconciliation
• Monitor cash flow
• Ensure any overdue accounts receivable invoices are investigated
• Maintain and monitor petty cash
• Identify opportunities for business improvements within the organisation

You will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual with strong people, time management and IT skills.
