Year 4 Teacher

An exceptional Primary school based in East Peckham are looking for an experienced Year 4 Teacher to join their team. This part-time role will begin in January 2025 where you will work Monday and Tuesday each week.

Key responsibilities as a Year 4 Teacher:

• Utilise a range of teaching methods and resources to make lessons engaging and enjoyable.
• Track individual student progress and provide support in areas where additional help is needed.
• Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet the diverse abilities and learning styles of students.
• Remain composed and effective in managing challenging behaviour.
• Maintain records of student progress, attendance, and behaviour.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils
• Work in accordance with the legal requirements and policies of the school.

Requirements:

• Have QTS.
• Strong knowledge of the key stage 2 curriculum.
• Have previous experience working as an effective primary teacher.
• An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be happy to apply.
• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
• Be able to provide two references within the last 2 years.
