We are seeking a qualified Year 4 or KS2 Teacher for a lovely school in Tonbridge. This role is ideal for someone looking for a permanent position, although the school is also open to considering candidates interested in a long-term, committed contract. The successful candidate will fully integrate with both the school and the wider school community. The role is set to start in January.
Day-to-day of the role: - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet curriculum standards and the needs of Year 4 students.
- Assess and record students’ progress and prepare them for examinations.
- Foster a positive learning environment and manage classroom behavior effectively.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff and contribute to the school community.
- Participate in school events and activities.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and behavior.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a focus on Year 4 or KS2.
- Proven experience in teaching at the primary level, specifically Year 4 or KS2.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
