THE COMPANY

This company is a start-up in the music streaming space which will be releasing its new platform in the new year. They've currently signed 40 million songs and are on track to do 150 million by next year.

THIS ROLE

As a Data Engineer, you will be…

• Designing and developing scalable and reliable pipelines to ingest and store data from various sources
• Working closely with data scientists, analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver solutions
• Providing technical leadership and sharing best practices.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful Senior Data Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering
• Utilising cloud platforms specifically GCP
• Utilising best practices - CI/CD
• Will still be relatively close to code and therefore have good Python and SQL skills
• Experience with utilising Kubernetes, Terraform and Big query
