We are seeking a dedicated Finance Technician to join our team in Plymouth City Centre. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and executing our financial processes and systems.
Day-to-day of the role: - Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements.
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation compliant with legal regulations.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting operations.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Handle general ledger bookkeeping where necessary.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial procedures and ensure best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Finance Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with financial software.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
