Management Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Management Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team in Peterborough. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple financial projects simultaneously.

Description

• Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
• Analysis and interpretation of financial data to guide strategic decisions
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date ledgers and journals
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Assisting with internal and external audits
• Collaborating with other departments to improve financial procedures
• Advising on cost reduction and revenue enhancement strategies

Profile

A successful 'Management Accountant' should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks
