We are currently recruiting for a Senior/Principal Sustainability Consultant on behalf of a leading sustainability consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to shaping a sustainable built environment.
The Role:
The Senior/Principal Sustainability Consultant will:
- Lead and mentor a team, fostering individual growth and development.
- Contribute to the Senior Management Team's day-to-day operations.
- Provide clients with technical and strategic advice on sustainability services, including BREEAM, LEED, WELL, FITWELL, SKA Rating, and pre-planning assessments.
- Collaborate with design teams on innovative and high-profile developments.
- Prepare detailed reports and build long-term client relationships.
- Manage key accounts and help drive the growth of the consultancy.
Skills & Experience Required:
To be considered, the ideal candidate should have:
- 3-5 years' experience within the built environment or sustainability sector.
- A relevant degree in Sustainability (an MSc in building/sustainability/materials is desirable).
- Proven experience working with BREEAM certifications across various RIBA stages.
- Strong knowledge of UK planning requirements and sustainability legislation.
- Experience advising on net-zero buildings.
- Excellent project management, client relationship-building, and report writing skills.
- BREEAM AP and Assessor qualifications (preferred).
