2nd Line Engineer

Our client, a leading business in the IT sector is seeking a strong 2nd Line Engineer with experience in projects to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Due to growth our client is looking for a strong 2nd Line Engineer with project experience to join their team, working with an experienced team around you to provide technical support to a broad range of clients on multiple projects, where you will be required to work both on-site and remotely.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ IT experience, ideally working at a 2nd Line level as well as being experienced in project work. Those from an MSP would be advantageous although candidates with in-house IT experience will also be considered for the role.

Due to the location of the role candidates will be required to drive / have access to their own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with the projects team to provide a high level of technical support on a broad range of projects for clients

- Assist in producing the technical documentation for client projects

- Play a pivotal role in the setup and completion of technical client projects

- Work closely with the sales team to produce quotes for client projects

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team on projects

- Be the go-to for client queries on project-related matters

Key Experience:

- Experienced with Windows Server and desktop environments

- MS 365 Modern Workplace Cloud Solution implementation

- VMWare / Hyper-V Administration

- Networking experience

- Experience with VOIP technologies and systems (3CX)

- MS Azure
