Management Accountant | Holmfirth | £40,000 - £50,000

The Opportunity

Your role reports directly to the FD. You’ll have exposure to the senior leadership team and key stakeholders (including the MD) from day one. Outstanding experience for someone who ultimately wants to fast track into an FD / Head of Finance role at a relatively early stage of their career.

Your remit will include:

Management accounting, variance analysis, cash forecasting, budgeting, business partnering, M&A activities (due diligence)… plus a ton of projects including developing the commercial MI and a new ERP roll out.

Required:

• Ideally CIMA or ACCA completed - or working towards getting qualified in 2025.
• Experience of management accounting and variance analysis.
• Great communication skills and ability to partner with non finance colleagues.
• Superb analytical skills (confidence with Excel).
• Ability to use common sense to spot trends and deliver insightful and meaningful MI.
• Ambition, drive, proactivity, natural enthusiasm - this is a role for someone looking to springboard their career forward.
