RG Consultancy are working with a reputable company based in Oldham who are recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant. You will support the Management Accountant in ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will join a medium sized finance team and work within the department to support continuing growth and support ongoing improvements.

The Role
- Assisting in preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Accruals, prepayments, monthly journals
- Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Profit and loss
- Assisting in monitoring the financial performance of the company
- Assisting in implementing change and ongoing improvements for efficiency
- Assisting in year end and audit preparations
The Person
- Part qualified CIMA/ACCA or studying towards
- At least 2 years experience within a similar assistant/management accounting role
- Experience with SAGE is an advantage
- Strong IT & MS Excel skills
- Basic maths and written skills are essential
