Key Responsibilitiesas a School Business Manager:

• Oversee and manage the school's finances, budgeting, and resources.
• Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the school, including managing HR functions, procurement, and facilities management.
• Liaise with external partners, local authorities, and suppliers.
• Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to implement strategic plans.
• Monitor and manage policies, ensuring compliance with regulations and legislation.
• Support the Headteacher and Governing Body in making informed decisions.

Essential Requirements of a School business Manager:

• Previous experience in a business management role, preferably within an educational setting.
• Knowledge and experience of managing budgets, finance, and resources.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Knowledge of the unique challenges and opportunities within SEN education would be beneficial.
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude.
